They're Done! - OK, it took about two weeks
but they came out very nice...Don't you think?

We
start by... taking
a set of drawings and blowing up the images to the scale we want. Then using
a high density foam we shaped the basic outlines of the parts.
Some
Primer... and we have a nice smooth surface for the final PMS colors
in a high gloss paint.
The
task was to take a set of little toy rings that light up, and make a functional
model in 18" scale for Toy Fair
In
This Case... We needed to make a part for the
ring itself, so we made a tool and formed the parts in 1/2 's using our vacuformer
- this gave us a very clean hard plastic part. (Click
