We
took these two 7 foot blocks of foam and sculpted them into these great
looking huge boxing gloves....in less than 2 weeks!
Step #1: We start by sculpting the basic shapes from glued blocks of foam.
Step #2: Then a little detail sculpting work using the real glove as a reference
Step #3: A good amount of sanding and finish work
Step #4: Then we coat it with "Blue" our special resin that gives it a hard shell effect.
Step #5: A trip to the paint booth brings these gloves to life....and then we do some laces for that realism effect.
